Question 1 : What Made you fall in love with fashion?

Hannah: “I’ve loved fashion for as long as I can remember.I was always dressing up,shopping, and experimenting with clothes even as a child.A huge influence was my older sister, who modelled in magazines and tv shows- seeing her in that world made fashion feel magical and exciting. I was also obsessed with Gossip Girl and the Blair Waldorf aesthetic, which made me dream of a career in fashion. Even though fashion was always my biggest passion, I didn't always believe a career in it was possible. Working in Penneys changed that:becoming familiar with the environment and seeing new lines arrive made me genuinely excited. That pushed me to pursue it seriously, and I'm now in my second year of a fashion buying degree and have completed two internships; one in Monaco and the other in Penneys HG. Fashion is a part of me for sure, it always has and always will be. Being known for being a fashion lover or complimented on my style will always be such a praise to me!.”
Question 2: Would you say fashion is a way for you to express yourself?
Hannah: “Yes, I definitely believe fashion is a way to express yourself. For me, my outfit always reflects how i feel that day and how i want to portray myself to the world.I love that clothing can mirror your mood, confidence, creativity or even the version of yourself you want to step into. One of my favourite things about fashion is how differently people interpret it - everyone shows off their personality, values, and individuality in their own unique way through the pieces they choose. Fashion feels like a form of personal storytelling without needing to say a word, and that's what makes it so powerful.”
Question 3: Did you always dress the way you do now? Or did it take you a while to realize it?

Hannah:”No, I definitely didn't always dress the way I do now. As a teenager, I felt like I had to wear leggings, hoodies, or whatever everyone else was wearing to fit in, and always chased the latest trainers because it felt expected.Covid had a big impact on changing that. During Lockdown, I started ordering clothes I genuinely loved and felt comfortable in, knowing not many people loved and felt comfortable in,knowing not that many people would see me, which gave me the freedom to experiment without pressure.Over time i became more confident and more carefree, and started dressing for myself rather than otters. I also think it definitely comes with age - once you’re out of school, there's no pressure to fit in, and you feel free to embrace your own style. That’s when I truly found my love for styling, experimenting, and discovering what fashion really means to me.”
Question 4: What is your favorite shade of green?
Hannah: “My favourite shade of green is definitely Khaki.I’ve always been naturally drawn to green on my colour palette, and because I love wearing neutrals, I find that darker shades of green complement beautifully - as well as my naturally dark hair. Khaki has become a real staple in my wardrobe ; I even have a Khaki green Marc Jacobs bag, shoes, multiple clothing items, and most recently a khaki green puffer jacket from Zara. I also love adding a pop of Khaki to my outfits when I feel they might look a bit too dark - it lifts the look without taking away from my neutral style.”
